Title
Clouds and weather in exoplanet atmospheres
Abstract
Aerosols are found on most planets in the solar system, but the exoplanets we can study have different characteristics. How do their clouds compare? I will discuss how the James Webb Space Telescope has opened a new window for inferring the properties of clouds and weather in exoplanet atmospheres. I will also discuss the role of the upcoming Extremely Large Telescope, which will truly enable us to map exoplanet weather with high precision.
