Title
2-D Semiconductors for energy-efficient electronics and photonics
Abstract
The discovery of graphene sparked research into 2D materials, expanded with MoS2 and other semiconductors. Transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDCs) offer exciting potential, including using the valley degree of freedom for future electronics. I will present our work on energy-efficient 2D MoS2-based circuits for neural networks and explore long-term solutions using exciton transport in TMDC heterostructures for low-dissipation computing.
