Title
Beyond Metals and Semiconductors: Quadratic Materials for Integrated Photonics
Abstract
Nonlinear and electro-optic devices are present in our daily life with many applications: light sources for microsurgery, green laser pointer, or modulator for telecommunication. They use bulk materials such as glass fibers or crystals, hardly integrable due to low signal and difficult fabrication. Here I will show several strategies to enhance optical signals by engineering metal-oxides and an integrated broadband spectrometer for space application.
