What can we “learn” from Atoms?
Abstract
I will introduce atomic systems that can be used as a platform to understand the link between fundamental material physics and brain-inspired memory. I will introduce multiplicity and its link to energy landscapes. I will discuss a new type of atomic memory, which we used to emulate the seminal machine learning model, called the Boltzmann machine. I will finally reflect about novel quantum functionality and new regimes for quantum materials.
