Quantum Phase Transitions and the Higgs
Abstract
After a briefly review of phase transitions and the Higgs mechanism, I will go on to discuss quantum phase transitions and their possible application to Higgs models. I will also discuss the experimental prospects for testing these ideas at the next run of the LHC.
