Nano-Plasmonic Phenomena in Graphene
Abstract
The nano-scale exploration of surface plasmons in graphene has offered an entirely new perspective on fundamental physics behind electronic phenomena in this enigmatic material. For example, by direct infrared nano-imaging of plasmonic standing waves we have begun exploring the role of many body effects in graphene that were not anticipated theoretically [Nature 487, 82 (2012)].
