Controlling Waves at Subwavelength Scales in Space and Time through Complex Media
Abstract
The origin of diffraction limit in wave physics results from causality. The way to overcome it, can be revisited using the time-reversal mirror concept. We will discuss different scenario to achieve this goal that use one or a distribution of subwavelength resonators. Experiments conducted in acoustics, microwave and with optical waves will be discussed. Various applications of these methods will be described.
