Co-Designed Quantum Error Correction
Abstract
To harness the full potential of quantum information processing in noisy systems, we need quantum error correction schemes tailored to the dominant hardware-specific noise sources and application requirements. I will present quantum encoding designs aimed at suppressing practically relevant errors in AMO and solid-state systems. I will also explore quantum codes optimized for various applications, including computing, communication, and sensing.
